New NDN Spanish Ads in AZ use Brewer, Arpaio to Urge Latinos to Vote, New Ads in CO and NV Urge Latinos to Vote Early

A leading progressive think tank and advocacy organization, NDN, announced the launch of a campaign of radio ads yesterday in Colorado and Nevada urging Latino voters to cast their ballots in early voting and two new ads in an on-going campaign in Arizona that mention Gov. Jan Brewer and Sheriff Joe Arpaio as reasons Latinos need to come out and vote.

The radio ads are part of NDN’s effort to motivate Latino voters to exercise their voting rights.  The Arizona ads cite the actions by Brewer and Arpaio as motivating factors for Latinos to vote.  The speaker can be heard saying that the two have “crossed the line” by blaming Latinos for all types of problems and says Latinos have to do something to change the hostile environment these two elected officials have created.

Andres Ramirez, NDN’s Senior Vice President, said it is crucial for Latinos to participate in these elections.  He says the control of Congress and other state level offices are in play, and with them, the future of the economic, political  and social policies in these three states as well as the rest of the country.
