		<description>Excellent article!  This is why we so desperately need a public option at the very least and, ideally, a shift to single-payer insurance.

Unfortunately, I&#039;m not sure that our institutions ARE adapting.  Our nearly laissez-faire capitalist system allows employers to get away with everything but murder, and employees have little recourse because we&#039;re so dependent on our jobs.  It&#039;s somewhat like a feudal society with the illusion of freedom.  Reforming the employer-based health care system would be a great start to changing this.</description>
